As a former plantar fasciitis sufferer I am thrilled to have discovered these 3D cushioned insoles.
I used to get up in the morning and hobble to the loo on my sore feet. I went to a podiatrist and added solid inserts into all my shoes. Eventually (after about two years and lots of massaging) it went away, but now I take my footwear a lot more seriously.
I don’t wear flat shoes or gumboots without support any more, and I am thrilled to tell you about these insoles that I have now launched in my Travel Store.
It all started when I bought a pair of Omega Walk shoes on Facebook that promoted themselves as being great for those who needed extra instep support. It was a risk (I have made a few terrible online purchase decisions in my time!) but the reviews for the shoes were good and the price was good so I ordered a pair.
They duly arrived and they were indeed great. So good I bought another pair for my mum and then set up a link so my readers can get a discount on OmegaWalk shoes.
I wore them most days through the summer. The insoles were indeed amazing but the exterior soles are a little on the flimsy side and after thrashing them all summer, they are wearing down.
But it got me thinking, I need to get hold of these amazing insoles and put them in all my shoes!
So that’s what I did. I found a supplier and tested a few pairs for comfort and then launched Sole Purpose insoles which are now sold in my Travel Store for shipping NZ and Australia-wide.
They have cushioned pads that provide squishy comfort to the ball of the foot and support under high arches and at the heel. They are also great for heeled shoes and boots that don’t have any instep support and I have also put them into a couple pairs of old favourite boots to give them new life. They can also be trimmed to fit as they have shoe measurement cutting lines on the reverse.
