How about this for something very different to do in Los Angeles: I went parasailing in front of Venice Beach and Santa Monica with the Hollywood hills in the background Marina del Rey Parasailing.
I had a GoPro attached to my lifejacket and have condensed my 12 minutes flying into 2:30. Such fun!
