Last, LAST minute gift ideas!

Christmas is knocking on the door and all through the land creatures are stirring … up grief in shopping malls and supermarkets as last minute panic buying takes place.

But you don’t need to panic because I have put together this life-saving list of great Christmas gift ideas for Kiwis that you can buy online and present on the day as if you were as organised as a library.

Christmas gift ideas
My mother’s Christmas knitivity!

Here goes…

Tongariro white water rafting – if your family loves adrenalin, this is the gift for you!

Bridge Pa wine festival – we’ve all heard of Hawkes Bay wineries in Napier and Havelock North, but these ones in Bridge Pa (my old stomping ground just south of Hastings) are well worth visiting. This ticket includes a hop on/hop off bus and live entertainment.

Black Barn Vineyards – outdoor concerts and open air cinema under the stars in Havelock North.

Black Caps cricket – there are loads of tickets for T20s, ODIs and test matches between New Zealand and visiting teams from about November to March in various locations around New Zealand.

Magazine subscription – I know this is a little boring, but not if your recipient loves cooking or sport or lifestyle mags, or even the gossip mags, this is the gift that keeps on giving all year.

WOW – after running for 30 years I finally went to the World of Wearable Arts show in Wellington. Stunning costumes created from all over the world all shown in a music and dance show with amazing props and such huge talent. Tickets to WOW for a show in September/October would make a great gift!

My Food Bag – gift voucher. I personally love this! Let your parents or your sibling try out the home food delivery and they might get hooked enough to invite you over for dinner.

Luggage and travel accessories – I’m pretty picky about luggage and have chosen some special pieces for my own online store. This would make the ideal gift for someone planning a big trip.SaveSave
