I had to find an excuse to show you these photos of the Red Carpet event that Disney put on the night before Cars Land opened. I pretended I was an Aussie, shouting at various celebs to get their attention with a bunch of Aussie media, and it worked. They think only Aussies are obnoxious and I got these great photos!

Brad Paisley sings a song on the Cars movie and told me he’s doing a concert in Australia. When I asked about NZ he said we’re too small. “Do sheep buy tickets?”, he said. Ruuuude.
Two and Half Men’s Jon Cryer gave a gratuitous wave when I yelled at the top of my voice to say hi to Australia. (Note my nationality during this shame)
I also yelled at Eddie Izzard to let us take a photo. He turned around said take it. Pah! Thanks for rushing past Eddie!
John Ratzenberger looks a bit grumpy here but actually was very chatty. He is the voice of Mack on Cars, but some of another generation may know him better as postman Cliff Claven from Cheers.
My mate Ramon was in charge of stopping people like me from jumping over the railing. I did ask him to hook a few celebs and drag them over. Alas, he didn’t have his crook.
But I got myself on the red carpet anyway!
